Yes. Broken welds, bent or missing pickets, sagging gates, worn hinges and latches, rusted sections — we repair, straighten and refinish iron and steel. Send photos through the estimate form, or request a meeting so we can take a look.

It depends on the piece and the shop schedule. Your written estimate includes a build timeline, and if you have a deadline, tell us in the form.

Raw forged steel shows the hammer work and heat color, but it's left bare with no primer, so outdoors it will patina and rust unless you seal, wax or paint it. Powder coat is a durable, low-maintenance color finish. For outdoor and coastal work, hot-dip galvanizing gives the strongest rust protection, and it can be powder coated on top. Metallizing (zinc spray) is the option for pieces too large to galvanize. One difference to know: galvanizing can sometimes leave a rough, uneven surface with drips or small lumps, while metallizing usually comes out smoother and more even. Both protect against rust. Handrail: the length along the wall from the top step to the bottom step, plus the number of steps. Gate: the opening width between posts and the height you want. Fence or guardrail: total linear feet and height. Not sure? Check "help me measure" in the form and we'll guide you.
